Sacker Entertainment Law (SEL) provides high level A-to-Z entertainment business affairs and legal services for financiers, production companies, individual producers, talent, and distributors. In addition, SEL is unique among entertainment law firms as it takes an active role in helping its clients build and grow their businesses.

With over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry running business & legal affairs at Studios and leading independent companies, in January of 2022 Neil Sacker (Cornell ’83, Yale Law ’86) formed Sacker Entertainment Law, PC, a boutique entertainment law firm based out of Los Angeles, California. The team at SEL is comprised of attorneys who are hard-working, efficient and personable, and are dedicated to the firm's extraordinary group of clients.
SEL offers comprehensive business affairs and legal services across film, television, animation, podcasting and digital content. In addition, leveraging his extensive network of relationships and contacts, Neil Sacker works closely with all of our clients to help them to achieve their creative and business goals.

Unlike most law firms, Sacker Entertainment Law customizes its fee arrangements based upon the specific needs of each individual client and does not require retainers. SEL's primary focus is always on executing at the highest level for its clients, not worrying about billable hours like most laws firms.
Finally, our mission at SEL extends beyond the negotiation table and legal documentation; it's about mentorship, community building, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge.
